Many changes occur after a Not everyone will experience the same changes. It is often said that if one has seen one brain injury, one has only seen one brain injury because they are not all the same. Among the most challenging changes that can occur, those of a cognitive and behavioral nature can be difficult for healthcare providers and families to manage.  

This course introduces the reader to the etiology and neurological changes of TBI while also discussing the complex relationship between TBIs and aggressive and impulsive behaviors. Additionally, there will be an explanation as to why aggression and impulsivity can present themselves and strategies to keep the patient, provider, and others safe from harm in an inpatient setting.
