Healthcare professionals, including LVN/LPNs, RNs, and APRNs, must be able to identify dysrhythmias since some are or can become life-threatening, especially if left untreated. Prompt identification and treatment of these dysrhythmias can improve patient outcomes, including morbidity and mortality. This course will review the different types of abnormal heart rhythms, including identification, causes, signs/symptoms, and treatment methods.
