This course is an overview of oral medications used to manage and treat sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Learners will explore the purpose of oral STI medications, common symptoms associated with oral STI medication use, medical implications on quality of life, and oral medication and STI research. This course will also discuss methods of actions associated with these medications and the nurses’ role in oral STI medication education and management.
