HIV continues to disproportionally affect some populations more than others. In recent decades we have obtained a better understanding of how and why HIV occurs, but we continue to see rising infection numbers. This course will provide nurses with a general understanding of how PrEP works to prevent HIV, testing and monitoring requirements and more so that nurses can effectively provide education to their patients.
