Urologic emergencies are rare, but it is still important for nurses to understand the clinical manifestations of these conditions since the complications and long-term effects can be severe. This course discusses the pathophysiology, clinical signs and symptoms, assessment, diagnostics, treatment, complications, and patient teaching associated with the seven most common urologic emergencies.
